Sumar Talent Agency

History

Sumar Talent Agency, which J D Sumner organized, represented about 20 acts including the JD Sumner And The Stamps Quartet, Blackwood Brothers and Speer Family. Sixteen of those acts performed at the National Quartet Convention in 1973. Don Butler, who worked for Sumar, was the MC of the National Quartet Convention.
